Never fear, I’ll never just throw you in front of my camera and expect you to do all the work (unless that's what you're going for). I give direction when needed but ultimately, always leave room for your personality to shine through! We'll work together and I got your back.

What is your approach for portraits?

My goal is to capture you and your story in the most authentic way possible. We'll work together to plan a shoot that feels like you. I love keeping our session chill and relaxed, and recommend thinking of the photo session like a "hangout" of which you just happen to get beautiful images afterwards.

I've been told I have a knack for capturing personality and authenticity. I'm pretty easy-going and love capturing the day as it unfolds. I emphasize enjoying the day without pressure or worry about photos. My style has also been described as "romantic with an edge" and I love a healthy mix of portrait style and artful images.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Living in the Midwest, I'm no stranger to it being sunny one day and storming the next. If the weather's rough on our session date, I recommend rescheduling for another day. Granted, it's more difficult to reschedule a wedding, so we'll work with what we got!

How long until you deliver photos?

For regular sessions, my delivery time is typically 2 to 4 weeks after our session together. For weddings, my turnaround time is about 6-8 weeks. I always want to deliver the best of the best for you and that takes time!

How do you deliver photos?

Online gallery! I always deliver photos this way. I find it's the most convenient and simple way for my clients to receive images and share them with loved ones.

How do I print my photos?

I have a professional print lab set up through my online galleries. You can order prints directly through me and I highly recommend that! I'll also be happy to send over a print release if you have a lab you personally like.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes without hesitation yes. As long as our location allows, the answer is always yes!
